3M Scotch 218 Fine Line Masking Tape 6mm x 55M (06521)

Scotch™ 218 Fine Line Masking tape is an olive green coloured, more specialised tape for applications requiring fine two-tone or paint stripping work. Developed to be conformable but without excessive stretch, enables the tape to maintain a superior paint edge. Its low tack adhesive makes it ideal for masking on fresh paint without leaving an imprint on the surface. Satisfactory performance and clean removal of Scotch™ Tape 218 will be achieved at varying temperatures/time exposure on many substrates. Tests should be conducted to establish Scotch™ Tape 218 performance parameters in your process conditions. The optimum level for product performance and easy removal is at 90 °C for 60 min.

As well as the vehicle refinish market, Scotch™ 218 tape can be used for a wide range of applications such as, circuit board conformal coat masking, moisture or solvent resistant masking, lettering and silk screen masking.
This tape can withstand a temperature of 90 °C for one hour.
